The Arc of Horry stands steadfast to provide these services and so many more to our partners, families, and others. We hope to achieve this to continue our mission of promoting the rights of individuals with disabilities and fostering inclusion in our community through community events.

We plan to have a full schedule by September 1st. Families and the Public should follow our social media for updates. We will also announce them here on this webpage.
We hope to bring in more partners to do these events, but the ones our community is familiar with: Bricks and Minifigs, Dave & Buster's, Myrtle Waves, etc. will still continue under The Arc of Horry.
The Arc of Horry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit promoting the human rights of individuals with disabilities through advocacy, services, and community engagement. We are a part of The Arc, the national organization, and our state chapter, The Arc of South Carolina.

For the time being, we will focus on the Sensory Friendly Events but hope to expand the LOC soon.

Yes. Businesses will still honor the ATC card and the CAN card as usual. We are closely working with these partners to ensure those benefits continue.
We are working closely with CAN and our partners regarding taking over these events. At this time, we do not suspect anything additional will be added, nor anything taken away. We will let our families know as soon as we know.
